About

It's an event that will happen only once in our lifetime. But Thanksgiving and Hanukkah have many things in common, even when they don't coincide on the same day. They are both special occasions that celebrate our religious freedom, remind us to be thankful for the way different people come together, encourage us to reconnect with our cultural origin, and indulge in traditional family foods.

Essential Thanksgivukkah Facts
It has a Facebook page and a Wikipedia page. It is described as a "once in an eternity overlap." Some Jewish calendar experts believe that the next Hanukkah will fall on Thursday, November 28 in the year 79811. But no matter what day it falls on, this is why the Jewish Festival of Lights has many things in common with Thanksgiving.
